Classical Coins is a one price store. All articles are
offered at a fixed price that is not negotiable.
Why
bargaining is not allowed |
1. Transfer of Ownership and Loss in Transit
Ownership of items purchased from Classical Coins is transferred to Buyer
when item is delivered to the shipping agent. Shipping agent's receipt is
proof of delivery to shipping agent. Loss in transit is a very rare event, but
should this occur Buyer is responsible for securing reimbursement from the
shipping agent.
If the shipment is not insured, Buyer cannot be reimbursed. Classical
Coins is not responsible for loss in transit and will not replace or make
refunds for lost items. |
2.
Warranty and Return Privileges:
All coins and antiquities
are carefully examined for authenticity,
and unconditionally warranted to be genuine without time limit.
Attribution, condition and other descriptions are the cataloguer's opinion,
as
attributions and grading standards do evolve. Articles are carefully described to
the latest knowledge at the time,
however no warranty of attribution or condition can be made.
Coins and antiquities are sold on condition of satisfaction to the
purchaser, and may be returned within fourteen days of receipt for a full refund,
including taxes but not shipping charges. Books are not
sold on approval and are not returnable.Limitations and Responsibilities:
No article may be returned if it has been altered or damaged in
any way. Cleaning a coin, or mounting it in jewelry, are examples of alterations.
Coins should always be returned in the original envelope.
Purchaser is responsible for cost of shipment and for loss or damage
of returned articles in shipment. Articles to be returned should be sent
insured for the purchase price. |
3. Payment:
Prices are in U.S. Dollars and are net to everyone. Checks or money orders drawn on U.S. banks,
PayPal, and credit cards from
U.S. customers, are accepted. Credit cards, and cashier's
or bank officer's checks, are
not accepted from foreign customers who have not
previously established credit with Classical Coins.

4. Point of Sale
The point of sale for all Internet orders is Goleta, California. |
5. Settlement and Billing
Credit card orders will be billed upon generation of invoice. Orders are
normally shipped within two days of invoicing. If there is any reason why
your order cannot be shipped within 7 days, you will be contacted. |
6. California
Sales Tax:
8.75% sales tax must be
collected on all items delivered within the State of
California unless a valid California resale certificate is presented or
is in our files.
Orders for coins amounting to more than $1,000 are exempted
by California law. |
7. Shipping Charges:
A shipping charge based on value and shipping
method
is computed when you place your order.
Certain International shipments,
shipments for high value items, and orders in which
all items
cannot be shipped by the same method, may involve additional charges and if so,
you will be contacted.Shipping Method:
Items purchased by U.S. residents will be shipped by insured or registered
mail. Coin orders for delivery outside the U.S. can be sent by insured
Registered Mail, by insured Express
Mail International or Priority Mail International if this service is
available to that destination. The
insurance limit for international shipments is $1,000.00. Customs duties and other taxes on shipments outside the United States
are Purchaser's responsibility. For more details please

Surety measures
Transactions with customers who have not previously
established credit may be
subject to surety measures at the discretion of Classical Coins. |
