Roman Coins commemorating the Jewish War

The Jewish war was the greatest Roman victory since the conquest of Britain, costly both in blood and treasure. Vespasian and Titus celebrated a triumph, bearing the Ark of the Covenant and other holy symbols of Judaism to the Roman Treasury. A triumphal arch was built and commemorative coins were issued.
